Welcome back! If KEFI had a color it would be yellow, due its positive and energetic properties. Let’s talk about yellow.

People often ask me “What is KEFI?”  Officially, it’s hard to translate, but basically it means obtaining the spirit of joy, passion, enthusiasm, high spirits, or frenzy.  Kiki’s KEFI is a spirited form of Positive Energy that allows one to live life to the fullest, and if it had a color it would be yellow, with its positive and energetic properties.

Yellow like the sun

Y is for yellow and it’s greatest equivalent is the sun! The color yellow is bright and cheerful, and in many cases imparts a dash of hope. Scientifically speaking, yellow enhances concentration, hence its use for legal pads.

Lovers of color will note that there is meaning to it, and in the case of this golden hue, yellow symbolizes wisdom, joy, and happiness. My favorite aspect of yellow is that it is energy in motion. The paramount source of nature, the sun, is yellow and fuels human life and the earth in numerous ways including heat and light. The sun releases 5 million tons of pure energy; therefore, as time goes on it is becoming lighter.

Were you aware of the enormity of the sun?

One hundred and nine Earths would be required to fit across the sun’s disk, and its interior could hold over 1.3 million Earths! The sun is really old, too. Yellow energy appears to have been active for 4.6 billion years and has enough fuel to go on for approximately another five billion years.

The sun has so much KEFI, which we can easily absorb when we dream, walk, swim, garden, dance, hike, run, or anything else under this giant lovely star.

Yellow foods for health

Greeks love to eat yellow foods, much of which exists in the Mediterranean diet; it’s primary staple is olive oil. Author Cal Orey writes:

“The universal superfood and its healing versatile virtues are a blessing to the well-being of people of all ages.”

Olive oil, with its touch of green, contains several vitamins which keep one healthy. Greeks love lemons, and like KEFI, they’re refreshing, stimulating, invigorating, and detoxifying to the human body. Adding lemon to your diet will aid in cleaning out your internal system, similar to experiencing a spirited day of KEFI — an excellent antidote for one’s woes.

Yellow is the color of KEFI

Studies also show that the color yellow is associated with warmth, cheerfulness, increased mental activity, and increased muscle energy. The color yellow helps activate memory, encourage communication, enhance vision, build confidence and stimulate the nervous system.

All this makes me want to live with KEFI, nourish with yellow and watch my mood improve, my body play, my mind focus, and my spirit shine.  As The Beatles’ John Lennon once sang:

“Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun.”

Here’s hoping you will march along to the same tune! Put on some yellow and let’s get moving!
