Travel Bloggers Greece: authentic travel experiences beyond the beach
With its vast history, sites, sounds, landscape, and colorful people, Greece has so much to offer travelers of all kinds, and at any time of the year. Yes, Greece boats miles and miles of incredible beaches, but there’s so much more to discover. In 2015, Marissa Tejada and Elena Sergeeva — both ex-pats living in Greece, created Travel Bloggers Greece. It’s the 1st professional travel blogger networking group in Greece.
Members are Greeks and expats who live in Greece and abide by ethical and professional standards. A membership committee approves candidates based on specific professional criteria. Travel Blogger Greece works with businesses in Greece and around the world to help promote authentic travel. Their blogs have international readership, and they blog in several different languages.
These bloggers love all things Greece, and share it with the world. This is important for Greece, whose top industry is tourism. It provides a unique perspective on Greece travel, and helps to bring international travelers to Greece. These blogs are part love letter to Greece, part travel brochure, each bringing new ideas for travel, and showing us a Greece many of us haven’t previously experienced.
